Privacy Policy

Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains what ImagenGIF (imagengifai.com) collects when you use the AI GIF generator, why we collect it, who we share it with and how to delete it. ImagenGIF is an independent service. It is not affiliated with OpenAI or Google.

Information We Collect

1. Account information: your name, email address and profile picture from the sign-in method you choose.
2. Prompts and settings: the text you type (prompt, words for a text GIF, meme caption) and the options you pick (quality, shape, frames, speed).
3. Generated files: the GIFs and pictures made from your prompts.
4. Usage data: credit balance, purchases and generation history, so your account works and failed generations can be refunded.
5. Device information: browser and device type, used to keep the site working on your device.
6. Analytics: cookie-free page analytics (Umami) that count visits without following you across sites.
7. Payment information: payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

Your Prompts and GIFs

• Checked before anything is charged. Your prompt, words and caption are first sent to our moderation provider, SeeAPI, which checks them for sexual, hateful and violent content. SeeAPI does not use this data to train models, but it keeps the checked content and results with no set deletion date and keeps request logs for 60 days. Email us and we will ask SeeAPI to delete yours.
• Sent to OpenAI to make the image. The prompt we build from your text and options is sent to OpenAI's Images API (GPT-Image-2.6) to draw the GIF or picture. Under OpenAI's API terms, API data is not used to train their models by default, and OpenAI may keep it for up to 30 days to monitor abuse.
• Stored privately. Finished files are stored in Cloudflare R2 so you can download them again from your account. We do not publish, list or sell them, and we never use them as public examples without your permission. Anyone you share a direct file link with can open it.
• Kept until you delete them. Generated files and your history stay until you ask us to delete them or close your account.
• Never used for training by us. We do not use your prompts or files to train AI models.

How We Use Your Information

We use the data we collect to:

• Generate the GIFs and pictures you ask for and keep your history.
• Process payments, add credits and refund failed generations.
• Send receipts, security notices and support replies.
• Detect and stop fraud and abuse, including prompts our Terms of Service do not allow.
• Understand which pages people visit, in aggregate, to improve the site.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only:

• With the providers that run the service: OpenAI (image generation), SeeAPI (content checks), Cloudflare (hosting, database and file storage), Stripe (payments) and our email provider (sign-in and receipts).
• To comply with the law or a lawful request from public authorities.
• To protect the rights, property or safety of our users, the public or us.

Data Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access to our systems is limited to the people who run the service, and payment details stay with Stripe. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

Your Rights

You can access, export, correct or delete your personal information. Email support@imagengifai.com from your account address to delete your GIFs, your history or your whole account. We reply within two business days.

Children

ImagenGIF is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. When we do, we change the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, tell signed-in users through the service.
